You can always copy the line you're standing on, paste it in to your Jaws find (ins+ctrl+f) and find your place easaly enough when you tab back in to the page.

Using Jaws 10 and firefox 3.0.6, I like the ability to get add ons and the over all speed of firefox. Jaws compatibility for the browser has improved greatly and any issues that Imight come along really aren't deal breakers that make me seriously considergoing back to IE7. I am however experiencing a recent issue with Jaws responsiveness in firefox which I've written to this list previously. I infact wrote fs about it and the tech guy who wrote me back said that it was a known issue with firefox and that it should be addressed in a future releaseof jfw. When that may be, who knows. . The only other main issue orinconvenience I have with firefox is that when you alt tab out of the screenor just change focous from the webpage, you lose your spot on the page and are placed back at the top of the screen. That's the only reall problem I have with the browser and hopefully it'll be address as well. Other then that, there's not much of a learning curv and again, the add ons are quite helpful. Here's my experience with Firefox and JAWS.I can navigate the secure pages of Amazon and numerous other websites usingFirefox 3.X and JAWS 10. However, the secure pages on one local website, FreshDirect.com, do not work right with JAWS 10. The solution that invariably solves the problem for me is to close JAWS 10 and load JAWS 9, while keeping Firefox as my browser. You allude to Webvisum as a reason to use Firefox, and I agree, even though the clicks annoy me so much that I keep it inactive until I need to use therecapture feature. I also like that it generates literally thousands of fewer files than IE7 and, I think as a result, moves faster. Each of our systems gives us different experiences. I offer my experience tomake sure no one is discouraged from trying Firefox just in case it works ontheirs. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Foret jr" <rforetjr@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, February 11, 2009 7:01 PM I use JAWS 10. I sure hope that Mozilla can fix the crashes; but, I musttell you. I took a look at the Mozilla support forum; and, I'm not the onlyperson having Firefox crashes. Many sited are also having this problem. What a shame; for you see, I had been saying what a nice browser it was. I had the choice between a stable browser and access to captcha solving. Stable browsing won out. Sincerely, The Constantly BAREFOOTED Ray "Old friend, what are you looking for? Unlike him, I do not have that problem on Amazon. However, anumber of JAWS users have reported problems using JAWS 9 with Firefox, as doI. So staying with JAWS 9 is a good idea for now.
