Hi.
In my opinion, yes, they sound the same. However, I've heard
people who are audiophiles, which I am not, say that there are
differences. Take a look at
http://www.rcsys.com
and
http://www.axsol.com
for samples. I'm sure Axsol has samples of both their synths,
which are the Tripletalk USB and PCI, but am not so sure that rcsys has
samples.

And the triple talk? Do the synths still sound the same?
I am getting tired of the system slow down do to having a software tynh
running and the accentsa is not running that well with jfw 5.0 (I find
= than eloquence speaks faster (responds better then it does). Witch
makes me believe that there might be a driver problem between xp and jfw
and the synth.

Frankly, were I you, I'd go for a Tripletalk, though the
external doubletalk does work with Windows XP. The TT units are more
likely to last you a few years, as they use USB or PCI, whereas the
Doubletalk units use serial, which is fast becoming difficult, or at
least troublesome, to find.=09 Aman =20
