That wasn't supposed to happen. I need to check my help screen tonight,
and call JFW, if necessary. I suggest everyone who's SMA reset do the
same.

I am not filing taxes, but, had to run the repair on mine too, and
everything seems to be working but the about page says I have no
upgrades
left and the activate site says I have one, Activation site is correct.

BTW, I already filed my taxes and have my refunds--or rather my husband
did
it.

After noticing mention of JAWS update 1163 on this list, I used the
"check
for updates" feature unsuccessfully on the first attempt to install the
update.
After I followed the
error message instructions to use "repair" from the install CD, I was
then
able to update to 1163. then when I checked the scripts folder, the 2006
TaxAct scripts were already there. As a side note, when I checked the
"about" function in JAWS to confirm 1163, my upgrades remaining was
reported
as zero, when prior to this update the value was 1. Because of the
little
side trip, I have been delayed in actually starting the IRS filing
process.
Thanks Vicky and Rick for your helpful posts.
