Vicky,

I was given a new sealed copy of TaxAct, but when I opened the package and
inserted the CD it appeared to be all GUI. Am I missing something. I decided to use the link on the IRS web site to access TaxAct since IRS is committed to accessibility. I have not yet started my filing, and anticipate using one of the low cost options of Tax Act on the web because my wife has some self employment income. If I correctly understood the TaxAct description from the IRS web site, form SE is not part of the free offering linked from IRS. Any
comments? Also, you mentioned scripts for TaxAct 2006, and I would
appreciate knowing a source for those scripts.

I've never looked at Turbo Tax. I did use TaxAct this year; however, seeing
as I like to have a bit more control over when I do what, I purchased the
software and used the program on my computer. Thus, I could go in and out
of the program at any time, and didn't have to worry about logging back into
a web site or anything. The program did work reasonably well, after one
renamed the TaxAct scripts to match the 2006 tax year.

For those of you on the list who file their taxes on line, have you found
turbo tax or tax act to work better with JAWS?

Thanks in advance.
