Hi yardbird,

If you want to put your Favorites folder on your desktop and assign a
shortcut key; do the following:

find your Favorites folder on your hard drive
Mine is at: C:\Documentss and Settings\compaq_Owner\Favorites
When you find the favorites folder, right click, and then right arrow on the
send to function, and then hit send to Desktop. When your Icon shows on the
desktop, it may say
"Shortcut to Favorites" But you can change the name of the Icon by:
right click on the Icon, and hit Rename, and take the "Shortcut To" part off
and just leave "Favorites"
Once the Favorites Icon is on your desktop, you can access the folder with
the icon from the desktop and you can also:
right click on the Icon, go into properties, and set your shortcut
combination keys

Hope this helps,
Marvin
