Hi, edit the jfw.ini file to add to the elaquence section
A line that will look like this replace your sound card in the example
below
Synth1Name=eloq
Synth1LongName=Eloquence for JAWS
Synth1Driver=eloq
synth1port=C-Media Wave Device

Subject: External Sound Card?

Hello to the Group
I have a External Sound Card which I am going to install and would
request
from you what I need to do to have JAWS speech come from the external
sound
card and the remaining audio come from my internal sound card? How do
you
split the audio?
Can you tell me what steps you used to make this work, what
modifications
are needed?
I am using JFW 6.1, Windows XP Home, Pentium 4 512 RAM, 2.4 GigHz
processor,
50 Gig of free hard drive space.
Dick
