As to the second question, Webster's Unabridged works fine with Jaws. It
is listed under Jaws help, popular applications with Jaws.

Most recently when I have checked it at Random House, it only comes with
the behemoth print edition of the dictionary to the tune of about $100.
I got it for about $30 when it was sold separately. I wonder if it might
be available at E-Bay?

I sympathize totally with your client's aversion to Dictionary.com, but
I hated it for all the ads and other clutter.

Subject: Excel and Dictionary Question

Hello:

I got these questions from someone who uses JAWS 5.0. First, he wants
to make an excel spreadsheet such that the first row contains headings
and as he goes down the sheet, the heading text such as Description is
read to him. Is there any way to do this?

His second question is, what dictionary programs on CD work best with
JAWS? This person doesn't like dictionary.com because he thinks going
to it caused him to get spam and junk mail.

Any answers to these questions would be appreciated.
