Excel Go To dialogue

Hi all.
I've just upgraded from JAWS 3.7U to 5.1. In Excel 97, When I press F5 or
control G to open the Go To dialogue, I get the message, "Reference is not
valid" before I've entered any text. I have to hit OK
8 or ten times before I can clear that message. Anyone else encountered
that?
If I quit JAWS 5.1 and run 3.7U, no problem.
