Russell,

In JAWS 8, it is supposed to be Control + JAWSKey + F2, but this
conflicts with a keystroke in the default configuration file to say
special windows classes. The conflict isn't there in JAWS 9.

The only way I can see around it is to change the keystroke in the
Keyboard Manager. The way I did it was, while in Excel, to press Insert
+ 8 to open the keyboard manager. Press Tab to move to the second list
view, then press S repeatedly to find the Say Formula script. Press the
applications key to get a context menu and choose change keystroke, then
press your preferred keystroke - I chose Control + Shift + F2 - and then
Enter. Close the manager and save the changes, and try your new
keystroke.

Steve

Subject: Excel 2007--say formula?

Hi all,

In Excel 2007, when I press Ctrl+F2 to read the formula in a cell,
instead of reading the formula it puts the spreadsheet in "Print
Preview". Does anyone know how to have the formula read?

Thanks,

Russell
