Sounds like the columns are merged. Ctrl+1, then Shift Tab until the paragraph
page, then tab to see if the merge cells is checked. Uncheck.

Don't know what else.

  Subject: Excel 2007 question

  Hi All;

  I am asking this question on behalf of a friend.
  Hi, I don't know what buttons I hit, but now I have 2 cells that when I go
  to column A I hear A10 through A11 and so forth all the way down column A.
  This does not happen in any other column. Ideas?

  I'm using Excel 2007 JAWS 9 on an XP machine.

  Thank you,

  Have a great day,

  Paul Bolduc
