If the product is Foxpro based they are notorious for not being
compatible with JAWS.  When I was working this was an issue and Foxpro
refused to do anything as they were "compatible" with other software.

I guess that means another entry in the Blind 
Access Journal...
I can see other factors: many people think 
that, when a blind person uses JAWS, it is 
due to scripts and many think that JAWS 
requires scripts in order for blind users to 
use their apps.  I'm in complete agreement 
with Darrell - that there are many software 
that works "out of the box" - that is, it 
does not require scripts, config files, etc.  
Maybe the next move for Patty would be to get 
a "sample" of what the application is - that 
is, try it and see what happens.
