Easier Way To Handle E Mail Attachments?

Hi Listers,   Like many of you, I get e mail with multiple attachments.
The primitive way I handle these is to do Insert plus A and hit open and
repeat this process until I at last find the text of the initial attachment.
Surely there is a more efficient way to get to the text and I am hoping for
enlightenment from this most helpful list.
