  Hello,

First go to format cells control key and the number 1 then tab to category,
arrow up or down until you get to date, hit tab once for type of date format
arrow down until you get to the type of date format you desire then hit enter.

Hope this will be of help.

    Subject: EXCEL 2007 QUESTION

    Hello Everyone,

I am using JAWS 9 and MS Office 2007. I am trying to create an Excel
worksheet and have some questions. I have the worksheet itself set up, but when
I go to enter data into the column I have marked as date it changes the format
of the date. For example, when I enter October 7, 2008, Excell will
automatically format it as 7, October, 2008. Does anyone know how to change
this behavior and have Excel display the correct format for the date?

    Thanks,

    Alicia
