You can perform the same steps in HJ Pad or word. Just copy and paste the
message into either of the afore mentioned programs, hit control F, for find.
Now, type in the grater Sign. This is the shift key period.
Now, just tab to replace all and hit enter. All of the grater signs will be
gone. Now just hit enter to OK what you've done, then hit escape to go back to
the document. There's no need to put something in the replace field because
you
don't want to replace the signs, you just want them gone. Now you can copy and
paste your clean document into a new E-mail and send it off. Jack

Hi, Assuming one has downloaded this program from the JFW Light Programs
site, what are the actual steps to use it with JAWS and OutlookExpress? In
the past, I have copied the contents to Word then did a search for the >
signs with Alt + H and selected all of them and deleted them and then pasted
the resulting message back into the message body. It works but is tedious.
Thanks for the steps necessary to use the E Mail stripper. Mitch
