Hi Gary, and thanks for the configuration settings suggestion, which does
seem to hellp quite a lot.
Also, I was thinking of a modification that could be made where right after
you would press enter, the body of the message would begin to read, without
voicing the re: and subject:
being spoken.
This was able to be done, at least in 5.0, with a slight modification to the
outlook express script file.
But this script file seems to be a bit different.

Jim,

Open the outlook express 5/6 configuration manager and open the
verbosity settings. Now enter on the preferences for the verbosity level
you're using. Now uncheck document name, tab to OK, tab to OK again. Now alt
f4 to close the configuration manager and say yes to save the changes.

Gary

Subject: Double speaking of Subject Lines with OE and Jaws 6

This is a perplexing problem, a message is launched using Outlook Express 6
and Jaws 6 and the message sender and subject are spoken before the message
is read.
I thought that there was a modification that could be made to the outlook
express scripts to prevent this speaking of the subject line, but the layout
seems to be different.
Any suggestions tu squelch this annoying repetition?
Thanks
