I would be more tempted to make JAWS 10 the one which fires up at start up.
I am *very* leary of removing JAWS extras.

Pat,
My experience with this was when I installed JAWS 10, after having JAWS 9.
At that time I was very not-happy with JAWS 10 and tried to remove it. But I
was told by FS that the new Display Chaining Manager (DCM) changed the Video
Intercept so that JAWS 9 would no longer work correctly after the removal of
JAWS 10.
It required sighted assistance to work with one of the FS Support team to go
in to the registry and clean up several keys, before the job was done.
So the answer in my case was "no, you cannot remove JAWS 10 without
affecting the original JAWS 9".
And yes, I've also had conflicting stories from FS Tech Support. It's all a
matter of who you get on the line when you call.

I removed JAWS 11 and use 2 earlier versions. But would the J 11 video
intercept thingi sstill "rule" as "I did not remove shared components".
Have received conflicting info from tech support which I highly respect
regarding this.
