They have a way to do it. First, they create a hotkey for AVG. Focus on the AVG icon on your Desktop. Press the context menu key to the left of the right Control key. Arrow up once or twice to Properties, press Enter. Tab until you hear the hotkey field. Press a letter that isn't being used by some other hotkey combination. A, let's say. Or V. Or G. Now, don't tab out of that field. Just press Enter (if you press Insert E first to see where you're focused if you press Enter, you'll hear OK. That's what you're pressing when you hit Enter. Also, pressing Insert 8 (say line) will also confirm this. Now you have a hotkey for AVG 8. Now Exit Jaws (Insert F4/OK). Now press that hotkey combination you just created, which will be control alt A, or V, or G or whichever other letter you chose. AVG will launch. Wait a monent to give it time to do this if you can't see the interface appear on the scrreen. Now press your hotkey combination to launch Jaws again, which will probably be the standard control alt J. Now everything should be okay. If you can't access the menus immediately because it seems as if something is in your way, press Alt Tab as if you were moving into another open application, even though you aren't really doing that. Now try again. You should be able to go to the menu line of AVG, open each menu, and so forth. Hope this helps, if it's you who needs the help. If not, well, hope someone needs the information for practical purposes. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Teddy Bear" <toyol_cyber007@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, May 31, 2008 11:20 PM Subject: Re: Developing Work-Around for JAWS and AVG, Have a Question How about people who use jaws 8 or 7?
