You should use SAPI 4 for the AT&T voices. The autodetect feature for SAPI
4 in JFW should find them for you.

Subject: Detection of AT & T Naturally Speaking voices with JAWS

Greetings everyone:
I am attempting to implement the "AT & T Naturally Speaking" voices on my
computer. To begin with I have a Windows XP home edition operating system
and I am using the current version of JAWS, version 5.00.844.

When attempting to link the AT & T voice to the JAWS synthesizer through
the configuration manager/synthesizer function there is only one default
voice to use for eloquence and that is the default that comes with
JAWS(found in a combo box of this voice only). Since JAWS version 5.00844
already comes with the "sapi 5" installed and the AT & T voices are already
installed how would I go about making one of the AT & T voices the default
voice for my computer?

Discombobulated and puzzled
