Since this has been a problem since JAWS 4 I've accepted it as something that Freedom Scientific cannot repair. They have always told me that "it happens on occasion" and that it is due to the MS kyboard intercept drivers. Only resolution when it happens is to rapidly press the alternate (left and right) control, shift, alt, and Windows keys several time each to break it free. After playing my little clickey tune, I'm back to work just fine. Annoying, but almost as "normal" as breathing, after all these years. Happened to me with either my old HP Pavilion, HP Kayak, and Dell machines. I WONDER IF THE video intercept has something to do with this problem. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark <mailto:mfurness@xxxxxxxx> To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, December 28, 2009 6:19 PM Subject: Hp machine and sticky control key Running Windows7, the latest Jaws 11 my control key at various times gets stuck. Freedom Scientific was wondering if HP has something to do with it. Windoweyes, and NVDA do not have this problem on my machine. When I installed Jaws on my wifes HP machine, she runs Window eyes, the problem began. She never had this problem for over a month until then. As far as Freedom Scientific is concerned, it is only me who is having this problem. If anyone else is, I would greatly like to know! Mark
