DVDs with JAWS

Hi all,

On one or two occasions, I've tried to watch a DVD on my computer, but had
a really hard time navigating the two options I had on my XP machine
(RealPlayer and Windows Media Player). I think I was using JAWS 6.10 at
the time, I'm now running 7.10.

Anyway, I found that some parts of the DVD were played by one piece of
software but not the other, and vice versa; and while I managed to figure
out how to seek in RealPlayer (with ctrl+E), this didn't seem to work all
the time.

In contrast, I manage to listen to MP3s in RealPlayer with no trouble. I
am able to use the JAWS cursor competently, so it's nothing as simple as
that. I'm almost completely unfamiliar with JAWS scripts, however, so may
have missed a few tricks there.

Bottom line: is there an easy way to watch DVDs, using software accessible
with JAWS, including being able to navigate around the tracks etc.?

Apologies if I've missed the obvious, but I couldn't find anything in the
archives.

Cheers,

Nikhil.
