If you want to rip the audio from a dvd, I highly recommend DVD audio
extractor. It is available from
http://www.castudio.org/
If you want to rip the video as well, I'm not sure what you should use.

Subject: DVD Ripping tool
Hello list:
I will like to know if there is a DVD ripping tool accessible with jaws. I
have a large collection of DVDs and I will love to carry some (or all) of
them on let's say my iPod, or be able to watch them on my family's apple TV.
Any help will be greatly appriciated.
