Jim,

Further to Debbie's message about closing and re-opening the file list,
you can also use F5 to refresh the list, at which point the contents
will be re-ordered.

I think a file or folder that has been moved or created in a list
appears at the bottom until you close and re-open the file list where
the folder or file will appear in the order pre-arranged. The default is
alphabetical.

Hi Listers, back to basics, I'm attempting to cut a Word
document from within a folder list view in Windows Explorer and paste
it at the top of the folder list. First I select the doc with control C
, then arrow-up to the top of the folder list view, then press home just
to be on the safe side I do control V, JFW announces pasted text from
clipboard. But what has happened a copy of the first document appears at
the bottom of the list view. Help on this fundamental skill will be much
appreciated! I'm using Jaws 6.1 with win XP home.
