?I have a program known as youtube downloader. Don't let the name full you. It can convert any video to a wide variety of formats. However, I don't know if it supports .PAL. But check it out. Is free and very easy to use. But be careful, its very slow. But, did I mention is free?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this list and have just been reading and getting a feel for the list before asking my question. I hope it will not be considered off topic or unsuitable for here. I'm totally blind and am using Windows 7 HomePremium with JAWS 12 Professional. I have some movies that are in pal formatand I'm wanting to convert them to avi so they'll be smaller. Does anyone know of an accessible program that might do this? I used to use Magic DVDRipper and I thought it would do this, but I can't find the right setting ifit does, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great day.
