Hina, As you sent this message, I had the same problem trying to read a PDF
document I received from a company. The document was probably not formatted
properly or was created using an outdated version of Adobe and so could not be
converted so our screen reader can read the text, which is there.
Solutions to this, are that you can try saving the document to your hard drive,
and if you have either Freedom Scientific OpenBook or Kurzweil K1000
scanning/reading software, either of these programs might open the item.
Also, if you have a PDF converting program such as PDF Converter, this type of
program might work.
I was able to open my troublesome PDF document using my PDF converter program.

Does anyone know why jaws says empty document for some pdf files? Anyone with
sight can see something on screen but jaws says empty document. Any idea?
