try turning off the virtual cursr with jaws key+z.

Tried enter to open the combo box and alt down-arrow to make a selection, it
does allow me to skip the first selection but then the link  is activated on
the second one, even though I did not release the alt key or hit up arrow.
There are 17 choices, that leaves 15 of which I can not seem to scan
through.
Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but each suggestion has failed thus far.
But I am game, keep them coming.

you have to press enter first and then press alt+down arrow to open the
list. once you are on the one you want, press alt+up arrow to close the
list and that will activate the link.
