Hi Shari,

Below are the instructions for correcting your problem, I think they were
written up by Debbie Scales.

Gary

Remember, make a backup of any file you manually edit and go back to
the
backup if you need to call tech support.
If you are using Internet Explorer 5 or 6,
use Note Pad to edit the following file:
Internet Explorer 5-6.jcf
which is found under c:\jaws50\settings\enu
That is if you installed this build under it's default path.
This file is broke into sections which have labels in closed in
brackets.
Arrow down to the section labeled: [osm] then arrow to the bottom of
this
section. That is until you see another label enclosed in brackets.
At the bottom of this [osm] section, insert the following line exactly
as
shown:
IgnoreTransparentSpaces=1

I hope this helps.

Subject: Combo boxes not reading

Hi listers, I just installed Jaws 5.00844. For some reason, lists of items
in combo boxes won't read. I hit the down arrow and move through the list,
but Jaws is silent. If i do a say line, Jaws reports 1 of ..., 2 of ... etc.
Any ideas?
Shari
