Mike, Well, I'll be darned. Certainly correct, and I stand corrected. Typical MS usage of access keys and hotkeys being different. Now I understand how sometimes I accidentally turn on group mode, since I use Ctrl-J a lot to look for unread messages, and the letter "H" is right next door to "J". And of course pressing Ctrl-h or Ctrl-g does not toggle group mode back off again; another quality programming feature from our friends at MS. I just checked both keystrokes and control + H won. I know it says the letter " G " in current view sub menu but, control + G won't collapse messages. Take care. The problem is that this is not a toggle. To undo it, follow the instructions that Mike gave you below and you should be back to normal. Rich ----- Original Message ----- From: Mike & Barbara In Arcadia Sent: Thursday, October 28, 2010 9:16 PM Hi Cal; What you have somehow done is turn group messages by conversation on. To turn this off, do the following; 1. While in any folder without any messages open, press Alt + V for the view menu. 2. Press enter on " Current view ." 3. Arrow up to " group messages by conversation", if this box is checked, press enter to uncheck it. Pressing enter will uncheck the box and take you out of the menus. Hope this helps. Take care.
