Hi,
        I'd be interested in this as well. If i've got the wireless icon in
the system tray going to it will tell me, but in network connections
wireless connection where you can select wireless networks i'd like to know
signal strengths there, for all the networks, sighted see the bars, and if
it would be possible knowing what channel the wireless is on would be very
useful as well.

No there isn't, however I'm sure a script could be created that could check
for and report wireless signal strength.
