1. Open Configuration Manager with insert+6, that is number 6 on the numbers row, not 6 on the numeric keypad if you have one. 2. If you wish to apply the below setting globally, press shift+ctrl+d to open default.jcf. 3. Press alt+s to open the set options menu, and press t to bring up the text processing dialogue box. 4. Tab until you hear, "speak single digits if number contains: combo box", and set it to 5 or more digits. 5. Tab until you hear, "speak single digits if number contains: dashes check box" and make sure it is checked.
6. Tab to the "ok button" and activate it. 7. Press ctrl+s to save your settings. 8. Press alt+f4 to close Configuration Manager. Hope this helps.
