Hello list,

I just helped a friend here with a setting that may be what is needed:
We first set his Windows X P display settings to "High Contrast Black". (I
can give step-by-step for Windows X P if needed.)

We then went to Internet Explorer and
1. Opened Tools (ALT + T), then
2. Opened Internet Options (not using the ALT key, just the letter using O)
and then
3. Activated the Accessibility button near the bottom of the dialog box
(again, not using the ALT key, just the E key)
The focus lands on a checkbox for "Ignore colors specified on web pages"
4. You can toggle this with the space bar of course, or you can use ALT+C
5. Press the enter key to commit the change. (This will also close the
accessibility options box.)
6. Close the "Internet Options" dialog with ALT+F4 because the OK button is
not the default and you'll have to tab a lot to get there.

We use Outlook2003 right now and it is based on Internet Explorer so these
changes effect our e-mail and its attachments.

I hope that helps.

After giving it some thought, I remembered a friend having to do this very
thing. It can be done in control panel/internet options. I'd have to go
back and look at it again because it's been a while since I've looked at it.
