Hi Rick. It was some time ago, but as I recall, I did reboot and JAWS was just acting funny, it would read certain things but not others. So, knowing that the old setting worked better, I went back to that, rebooted the system just to be safe and all was beautiful again.

Hi Chris,

When you switched resolution did you reboot? Jaws will not function
properly when changeing screen resolution on the fly.

Hi. I'm not using a laptop at the moment, but here's an interesting tidbit.
I'm using JAWS 8.0 on a monitor which supports 1024x768 resolutions,
and the interesting part is that when I wentdown to the *recommended*
setting of 800x600 resolution, JAWS would not read much of anything,
and when it did it was very hit or miss. so i went right back to the
1024x768 resolution, and all appears to be fine.
So I dunno if it's entirely an Adobe issue, but it would appear that
something was amiss there.
