it is not jaws related. The clue is that it is greyed out. The fix is most likely in the security settings of ie. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom Lange" <trlange@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 10, 2004 11:48 PM Subject: Can't Save Target. JAWS Problem? Hi all, I have a peculiar situation going on with a machine at the office and don't know if this is a JAWS issue or not. It's a Dell 4600 desktop with 512mb RAM, 2.6ghz processor, Windows XP Pro and JFW 5.0. When I go up to the Web-Braille site and highlight a Braille volume to download, either by tabbing to it or arrowing to the link, usually I can right-click the link and, among the choices in the context menu is an option called "save target as". However, lately that option has been grayed out; it's listed but unavailable. On a nearly identical machine in the same room, same specs, same JAWS, I don't have this problem. Have any of you seen this problem? Is it JAWS-related? Somehow I don't think so but I figured no harm in asking. If you have seen that problem, how did you fix it? Oh yeah, this also happens at Bookshare, too, so it's not the web site's fault. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Cheers!
