I like what the original poster said. I do group messages by subject and frankly couldn't imagine managing all these messages in date or sender order, my mind can't skip back and forth between topics well. Unfortunately, in my e-mail program, there isn't any quick keystroke way to delete all messages with an identical subject line, so I have to hold shift and arrow down until I hit a new subject, then back up one and press delete. So I agree, it helps reading time efficiency if posters use short unique subject lines. Hearing "jaws problem" on a subject line is like a restaurant having an item on their menu and just calling it "pasta."

How about you just learn to sort using date, sender, or other means, rather
than by subject? Have you tried grouping messages by subject?

Sorry.
That was a personal request, not a requirement.
