You can change the voice names by using voice profiles. This can be done in
JAWS 11 & 12. Here are the steps.
1. hit Insert key j
2. Select Language
3 . Use the right arrow to open sub menu and select Create a new profile.
4. Change the options as desired in this panel and choose the Save as button at
the bottom.
5. Give it a new name as desired and click OK.
6. This new name will be available in the select Synthesizer list.

With Jaws 11 and XP, I got to them on my C drive, program files, Fifi
Scientific, shared, Real Speak Solo, etc.
I reached a point where I could have changed a name with the F2, but have no
reason to.

I actually suspect that the names are hard-coded into the files, so
that changing the file name may not do anything. Not sure -- just a guess.

Dave, just a thought or two about point 5.
Typically, to change the name of a file or folder, highlight it
in a list and press F2, which sets up an edit field. However, even if that were
possible in this case (I don't know either way because I haven't bothered
downloading RealSpeak voices), it would probably be unwise to make such a
change with these voices. It could disrupt the programming syntax, if that's
the right lingo.

Recommend you save and run from the computer.

Anywhere you would like. These are just executables that you
launch -- they do the rest.
3. how do I instal the voices?
Run each executable and sit back and wait until done.
4. how do I uninstal the voices that I no longer want?
Delete them using Control Panel add/remove programs.
5. how do I rename the voice let us say that I called it george
and now I want to call it matt how do I rename it?
I don't think you can.
