Hi there,
Just a note. I installed Jaws 6.0, and did a merge with my 5.1 settings.
It ran a little sluggish and paused slightly sometimes between functions. I
chose to run a Jaws repair using the installation maintance. I then changed
all of the settings manually instead of merging with an earlier version of
Jaws. I must say that Jaws is now running like a charm after the repair.
No sluggish or pauses.
I know some people merge with earlier versions of Jaws without a problem,
but in 5.1 and now 6.0, I have had to run a repair after trying to merge
settings. I won't give up on the merge feature, but it has not been working
for me lately!
I am running Windows XP home SP2 with Jaws 5.1 and now Jaws 6.0.
