Dave,

In addition to what I sent you privately, there is an application called
E-Backup that specializes in just this process. I think it's on the jfwlite
programs page.

Subject: Backing up data files used in Outlook Express

Hello everyone:

Please send any replies to the following question to me at:

d.durber@xxxxxxxxx

Due to a helpful friend of mine who was assisting me with my computer, he
inadvertently installed one of those annoying tool bars that seems to have
taken over my computer. It seems to be very difficult to uninstall this
damned thing and its on-going affects it has or, is doing to my computer.
As a result, I am having to reinstall Windows XP Pro again.

I have already backed up personal data that was on the system drive to other
drives.

Now, where do I find the data files that contain the folders which hold all
the email messages in Outlook Express, so I can copy them to another drive
and put them back after I have installed the new version of Windows.

Thanks in anticipation.

Sincerely:

Dave Durber
