You should be able to, as your user account, place JAWS in the startup folder. Depending on how you've set up Windows, every time you log in, then, JFW will start. But when anyone else logs in, it will stay inactive.

Hello Listers,

I am running XP Home Edition and I am "the Administrator" on the machine. My wife and two daughters are also listed as users on the machine. Is there a way to automatically start JAWS after I log in? I don't want JAWS to start automatically when the log in screen comes up as it drives the rest of them crazy to hear JAWS. LOL! Hope this makes sense...
