Marc,

Then I think you need to go look at your audio devices in what used to be
"Sounds and Audio Devices" in the old XP Control Panel -- don't know what it
is now in Windows 7.

I suspect that your default sound device has been changed during the install
and your JAWS is now outputting through your surround sound output channels
instead of a default on-board sound device.

Hey again,

Sorry for the double-post, I just wanted to send this with the correct
subject line to make sure I got the most advice possible.

Yes, I was running XP in 32 bit with jaws 10 before on a partitioned
drive, while waiting for jaws 11 to come in. It was the exact same
computer/sound card as it was on XP with jaws 10, all I did was switch
over to Win 7 Pro 64 bit and the latest version of jaws 11 -- all the
hardware is the same as when it worked in 32 bit Win XP and jaws 10.
