Gotcha. I just happen to take a different approach. I've got a hardware
router with a firewall, a couple of screen reader-accessible anti spyware
utilities, and so I'm pretty well set up on a free basis. No big deal,
either way.

I bought the AVG Internet security because I was also looking for an
accessible firewall that did a better job than windows firewall.
It also has built in spyware and an email spam catcher.
It was a total security solution that worked well for the blind and did a
nice job.

Do you mean you use AVG *paid* edition for that reason? or is this not the
point, anymore, but just a way of saying that all of us may be using AVG,
free or paid, whatever, because we appraise the navigable interface? See
what I mean? You mean you use AVG because of that an, like others who are
using the free version, you'd feel you had to consider another program if
your paid version was also updated to something less accessible?

Well when my subscription is up and if AVG8 is not so user friendly I will
go and look for a new antivirus program to use.
I used AVG because of it's accessibility in navigating the different parts
of the program.
Also the price for a 2 year License for 3 pc's was a good deal.
Now I am inside of 1 year left on it so won't worry about it until I have
to.

People have been saying that loading the interface is the only hassle with
Jaws, others say they've heard that the interface doesn't work well or at
all with Jaws anymore, others say AVG or FS is working on fixes, patches and
scripts. I don't get a very coherent impression from this mix of commentary.
