Another language question

Hi list,

I've got the language recognition checkbox checked, but yet when I go to a
web page that's in a certain language, eloquence doesn't change to the other
language. i was under the impression that that's what would happen. Do I
still then need to manually switch to another language before reading?

Does anyone know where I might find some Sapi synthesizers for languages
like Japanese etc.?
