I like jaws in the tray because it eliminates an open window. Lets say you
are doing alt tab to go between programs that you have open. If you have
jaws in the tray, you don't have to do an extra alt tab to pass it by.

I didn't have a problem with the alt-control short cut either right after I instaled Jaws 7.1 last night. I didn't have a problem getting Jaws to run in my system tray either. Maybe it was because I had my 7.0 running in the system tray and just murged my settings, but so far, I haven't had a lot of the problems other people have. Not sure if that's a good sign or not. <smile>
