I would not do it with out some training. If you make a mistake, you will be with out JAWs until it is corrected. In our case, that would put you out of action. Sorry I mentioned it. sam ________________________________ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Samara Raine Sent: Wednesday, September 22, 2010 6:35 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Announcing Bold and Italics in Word Pad Awwww I don't know anything about scripting. That stinks. I've noticed the insert f thing works too, it's just a little annoying. Sighs. Any way you can put up a step by step instruction on the script editor thing? Or is experience still necessary? ----- Original Message ----- From: White Samuel L <mailto:Samuel.L.White@xxxxxxx> To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, September 22, 2010 7:28 AM Subject: RE: Announcing Bold and Italics in Word Pad Sam, The only way I can tell when I turn on or off bold, italic, and underline in Wordpad is to use insert + f, which is not the same as announcing it. I found the JAWs scripts in the MS Word script file and copied them to the Word pad script and it seems to work the same as the MS Word application. The problem is you have to know something about the JAWs Script Editor and I would not suggest doing anything with it with out some experience. sam ________________________________ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Harmony Neil Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2010 11:15 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Announcing Bold and Italics in Word Pad I thought it just did it automatically. You know, in MSWord, if you hit control I, jaws sais 'italic on'. Is there any way to have it do the same in word pad?
