I completed with the only problem in the last step, to review the answers and submit. If it were to work like the last step in web commerce pages, it should be possible to review and change things on that last page. Apparently the implication is to use alt left arrow to go back to the previous page to go over the answers. It's a blunder for something concerned with accessibility. ----- Original Message ----- From: "DAVID WEDDLE" <ddweddle@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Has anyone had the trouble I've had trying to complete this survey. In my opinion it's far from speech friendly. If anyone has had success with this survey using JAWS, please let me know. Thanks. Take care... Dave David E. However, many of these recommendations are based on personal preference or conjecture - often from sighted users who only test with screen readers. The fact is that there is little data about screen reader usage to back up these recommendations. This survey will ask screen reader users about their usage and preferences. If you are a full-time, part-time, or even occasional screen reader user, please take a few minutes to complete the survey and provide us with a few details on your screen reader usage and preferences. We will be comparing results between those that rely on screen readers and those that primarily use them for evaluation and testing, so all screen reader users are invited to respond. Your feedback will help influence the accessibility techniques that web developers implement and that experts recommend. We'll be posting the survey results in a few months. Please post this announcement and/or the URL to other accessibility, disability, and assistive technology lists. More screen reader user responses will help solidify the recommendations made. http://webaim.org/projects/screenreadersurvey/ Jared Smith WebAIM _______________________________________________ To manage your subscription, visit http://list.webaim.org/ Address list messages to webaim-forum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -- with regards Steve Faulkner Technical Director - TPG Europe Director - Web Accessibility Tools Consortium www.paciellogroup.com | www.wat-c.org Web Accessibility Toolbar - http://www.paciellogroup.com/resources/wat-ie-about.html --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Free ARIA Community" group.
