An Outlook Annoyance

I use JFW V5.0 at work and, when I go to the folders list, instead of
hearing the number of messages on a folder, JAWS repeats the name of the
folder many times without telling me how many messages are in that folder.
How can I correct this? BTW, this happened in the 4.X versions as well.
