Re: Amazon.com, and JAWS 7.0

Again, it's Jaws' inability to cope with some design changes, and I should 
have been more specific before:  It's Jaws working with Internet Explorer. 
For those who have installed Jaws 7 and don't mind installing Mozilla 
firefox to use as their browser, at least for Amazon, it will work normally. 
For others, I'll put together some helpful hints this afternoon that may be 
a workaround.

Well it is more how Amazon constructed its website.  It is only an issue
with internet explorer. And how Jaws interacts with it.  Instead of everyone
sending messages on this list and others you should be calling amazon's
customer service / webmast and explaining the problem and make them aware
that many blind and low vision people are customers of their site.  However
if you have JFW 7.0 you should try using Firefox, we have experienced no
problems with firefox and Amazon.
