Hi,
Thunder is free and so is NVDA which is an open source screen reader. While
neither matches up to JAWS both have a good start and maybe at some point
can rival the more expensive screen readers some day. For now it's JAWS who
rules.

Hey, it sounds just like the government and all its politicians!
But don't fool yourself, bad press is feared!
A good email campaing can cause someone to worry a little.
I have heard someassociations say the same thing about FS and your right.
Maybe we should ask the Indians or the Chinese to come up with a speech
program ten times better for one tenth the price and let some competition
do its work! In fact we might let the rumor out that the Indians are
coming out with a free version of JAWSIT and until FS gets real they'll
contiue to give it away free!
