It might be beneficial to choose all in some situations, especially with older versions of JAWS, when you're using a DOS box or a telnet client. I can't imagine a use for "no", unless you have a program that is so highly-scripted that you want absolutely nothing to speak other than what is sent out by the scripts.

If you press insert v to adjust verbosity, there is an option for screen echo in the list.
