Hello Ann,
I have question for you,my pdf file is in my document I press the alt
arrow to print then press enter ,it didn't say what you say in here
because it's print the document and doesn't give me where I can go to
info print so the openbook can read the pdf file ,when I open openbook
and when to my document to find pdf file then went back to openbook press
alt key then arrow down to print then press enter it doesn't say anything
about info print at all. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

For Openbook to scan the PDF
1. Open OpenBook
2. Open the PDF
3. From the files menus, select print
4. In the print dialog, choose Freedom Import printer and press okay.
5. Openbook should recognize and display the text in its own window.
Note: If you have both OpenBook 7 and 8, you will need to find the
window asking you which one to use, and okay that before the recognition
phase can begin.
