Hi, Thakns for the help. I tried the control panel again and had no luck. What Debbie wrote makes sense of what I'm finding. I am using the free version of Real Player. If I buy their player can I adjust them independently? Both real player and Jaws use the master volume and you can't adjust them independently like you can with media player or winamp. My wife who is sighted and I have both tried to find sliders to adjust the volume. We find places that adjust both Jaws and Real Player together but haven't found anything to adjust them independently. If it's winamp, use the direct sound plug-in. The volume should not affect jaws that way. If it's an internet player, there should be some sort of volume up and volume down thing to click on. I want to listen to radio over the internet while I'm working but the radio is so loud that I can't hear Jaws. I have installed the Creative SB Audigy 4 (WDM). Thanks for your help.
