Hi Brad, this isn't a strange question. When I worked for the Internal 
Revenue Service I used the PowerBraille 80. What might be happening is your 
braille mode might be set to speechbox mode or maybe line mode. I found for 
most of the time structured mode is the best setting to use. To check your 
braille setting or change it go to the basics. Then go down to braille, and 
press enter. Tab until you hear advanced, and press enter. Tab until you 
hear braille setting then press the spacebar. You can use the up/down arrow 
keys to go through your choices. Try the structured mode. Tab to ok, and 
press enter. Again tab to ok, and press enter.
